This Middle Eastern salad is usually served with rice. It is refreshing and can be eaten with many foods.
Ingredients
2 cups plain yogurt
1 spoon dry mint
1 cucumber peeled and grated
Directions:
Put yogurt in a bowl and whisk until smooth, add mint and whisk. Peel and grate cucumber add to yogurt and stir.
This is similar to the Bulgarian yogurt salad “mlechna salata” Really nice and refreshing in the summer! 🙂 Usually they use a bit of garlic and parsley.. but the mint sounds interesting.
